Payment Terms

 

A non-refundable deposit of £50 per person for each ride or tour is required to secure the booking.

 

Method of payment is via cheque or Google Checkout.

 

On receipt of your booking form and deposit, a confirmation is sent.

 

Full payment is required 8 weeks prior to ride or tour date.
 

On receipt of full payment, details of your tour (routes, itinerary and accommodation) are sent.

 

There is no refund for client cancellation within 8 weeks of ride or tour date.

 

 

Terms and Conditions

 

All tours start and finish in the South Lake District area.

 

We can accommodate up to 8 motorcyclists with or without a pillion.

 

Accommodation is 3 or 4 star including breakfast:  either B & B, guest house or hotel.  All rooms are non-smoking.  We can arrange limited single rooms but there is a supplement.  On our Scottish tours evening meals are included in the price.  We can also arrange accommodation either end of your tour.  

 

Riders wishing to undertake one of our longer tours should be capable of riding at least 250 miles a day.

 

Riders should ensure their motorcycle is road legal and mechanically sound (with insurance, road tax and MOT if applicable) and is of a type suitable for touring.

 

For your piece of mind, it is recommended that you take out holiday insurance and breakdown cover.

 

Lakes & Lochs cannot guarantee availability of hire motorcycles.  We recommend that you contact us prior to booking your tour if you wish to hire.

 

Please remember to bring suitable waterproof clothing in the event of inclement weather.

 

We reserve the right to cancel any tour, however this would only become necessary in exceptional circumstances.  In such an event, we would hope to offer you an alternative.  If this were not possible or acceptable, we would issue a full refund.

 

Lakes and Lochs Motorcycle Tours will not be held responsible or offer a refund/compensation in any of the following situations: war, riots, civil unrest, terrorism, natural disaster or any unforeseen cancellations due to industrial disputes and/or weather.

 

Arrangements for your tour are made months in advance.  It is therefore inevitable that changes can occur.  In most cases, these changes will be minor and will not affect your holiday.  However, in the event of a major change, we will advise you immediately and you may then (a) continue the tour with the new itinerary, (b) accept an alternative of the same or similar value, or (c) cancel your holiday with a full refund.

 

We accept responsibility for supplying as near as physically possible a tour package as described in our website.  We are unable to control any deficiencies in services due to local conditions, maintenance or weather.
