Arran-Mull and Iona - 4 Days 850 Miles
Day One
The adventure begins with a ride northwest and a short ferry crossing to Arran. Often called Scotland in miniature, Arran comprises highlands in the north, central moorland, sandy bays in the south and an abundance of wildlife throughout. Yet it’s just sixty miles round by road. We overnight at a harbour side village.
Day Two
Crossing by ferry on to the Kintyre peninsula, the journey leads North taking in spectacular roads and approaching Mull from the Tobermory side. The route takes in the famous road to the Isles and a ferry crossing from the secluded Morvern Peninsula.
Day Three
There are two overnight stops on Mull at colourful Tobermory, which affords a whole day to explore both Mull and lovely Iona with its early Christian heritage. Part of the route follows roads used in the Mull Rally.
Day Four
From the late morning ferry for Oban, it’s homeward bound through dramatic landscapes and fantastic routes, using the quieter A and B roads where possible.
Our prices include all ferry crossings and a distillery visit.
